Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the head of PML-N, was chosen as Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan.
On Friday, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, a prominent figure in the party led by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, emerged victorious as the Speaker of the recently established National Assembly. Of 291 ballots polled, PML-N's Sadiq received 199 votes, according to Dawn.com.
